Florida's favorite Jimmy Buffett tribute band returns to the Oceanfront Bandshell on Friday, May 31, 2024!

The Caribbean Chillers are a dynamic Florida based Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band that brings you the SIGHTS and SOUNDS, and the FUN of a real Jimmy Buffett Concert! Close your eyes and you'll be transported to that "Magical Musical place" Jimmy calls Margaritaville!

The Coral Reef Corner Band is made up of residents of Latitudes Margaritaville, Daytona Beach.  It is the definition of a neighborhood band.  (The name comes from the location of the founders house located at the corner of Coral Reef way and Coral Reef way,  yes the street wraps around and crosses itself!).

 The band members are: 

• Brent Hastings (founder, harmonica and vocals),
• Tom Grumball (music director & piano),  
• Maureen Hastings (Vocals and vocal coach),
• Rich Morris (acoustic guiar and vocals),
• Coleman Easterly (Keyboard, Keytar and Vocals)
• Ric “Ringo” Cevallos (Drums)
• Gene Schmidt (Acoustic Guitar and Vocals)
• Bruce Blick (Bass guitar)
• Doug Mayes (Acoustic Guitar and Vocals)
• Chris Cooper (Sound Engineer)

The members of the band hail from all over the country,  they came together here in the Florida sunshine and the music centric Latitudes Margaritaville community.  Some were professional musicians and others simply life long music lovers and back porch players.  The band started with a few garage jam sessions,  during one of these jams during hurricane Dorian (Aug. 2019) the idea of building a band evolved.   So you might say that from the eye of the hurricane the Coral Reef Corner band sound has evolved.  This band offers a variety of music styles; Classic rock, Soft rock, Blues Rock, Trop-Rock, Country, Americana.

• Bandshell box office will be open at 5 p.m.
• Concert venue opens at 5:15 p.m. on Friday & Saturday nights during the summer concert series.
• This event has VIP Reserved seating for $15, which includes a chair. General admission is FREE, personal chairs are welcome in the general admission area.
• This show is considered ALL-AGES. We do recommend parental discretion based on the artist content and our bar-like environment.
• No dogs allowed. Service animals are permitted and must remain with its owner and must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered at all times, unless special circumstances exist.
• No outside alcohol allowed.
• The Daytona Beach Oceanfront Bandshell is 100% wheel chair accessible and does have an ADA section, location varies based on the event set-up. For specific questions please email daytonabandshell@codb.us.
• All concerts at the Daytona Beach Oceanfront Bandshell are considered RAIN OR SHINE. 
• Umbrellas are strictly prohibited, ponchos are available for purchase. 
• There are no refunds issued if rain is predicted or happens the day of the concert. In the chance of extremely severe weather, cancellations could occur but are rare.  Concert cancellations are announced as early as possible via this website and social media.
