Biography

This fantastic tribute to Bob Marley features Yvad, former lead singer of The Wailers band and solo artist.

This band performs over 90-120 minutes of the hits and songs of this legendary Reggae artist, plus Vlad’s original reggae music.

There are so many hits like No Woman No Cry, Three Little Birds, Buffalo Soldier, Redemption Song and many more!

Yvad has had three major hit songs so far on the Jamaica Music Awards and was featured on the cover of Billboard magazine. His song 'We need love' won best produced single in the reggae top nominated songs in Jamaica, and gathered international attention. He has also worked with Ziggy Marley and family and was signed to the family Label "Tuff Gong Int" records .

Skip Lilly is Steel Daddy.  A North Carolina native living in Asheville, Greensboro, Greenville and now Daytona Beach Florida, Skip has spent the last 20 years entertaining thousands from Atlantic City NJ, to Key West FL, from the British Virgin Islands to the Bahamas.  

Expect to hear an amazing Steel Drum selection from Tropical, Standards, Reggae and remakes of current songs.  The Guitar and Singing is a mix of: Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffett, Zac Brown, New Country, Reggae,  Classic Rock and current tunes.

• Bandshell box office will be open at 5 p.m.
• Concert venue opens at 5:15 p.m. on Friday & Saturday nights during the summer concert series.
• This event has VIP Reserved seating for $15, which includes a chair. General admission is FREE, personal chairs are welcome in the general admission area.
• This show is considered ALL-AGES. We do recommend parental discretion based on the artist content and our bar-like environment.
• No dogs allowed. Service animals are permitted and must remain with its owner and must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered at all times, unless special circumstances exist.
• No outside alcohol allowed.
• The Daytona Beach Oceanfront Bandshell is 100% wheel chair accessible and does have an ADA section, location varies based on the event set-up. For specific questions please email daytonabandshell@codb.us.
• All concerts at the Daytona Beach Oceanfront Bandshell are considered RAIN OR SHINE. 
• Umbrellas are strictly prohibited, ponchos are available for purchase. 
• There are no refunds issued if rain is predicted or happens the day of the concert. In the chance of extremely severe weather, cancellations could occur but are rare.  Concert cancellations are announced as early as possible via this website and social media.
